The sunglasses follow a late 70s Italian design aesthetic with a continuous one line shape. Five different colorways are set to drop, all featuring world renowned Carl Zeiss lenses.

MTV, iTunes And Others Also Bestow Top Spot Recognition

Having released their “Best of 2009” list, Time Magazine has confirmed what music lovers, critics and observers have already been saying amongst themselves. “Only Built For Cuban Linx Pt 2” is the best, most impactful Hip Hop album of 2009.

New York, NY – December 10, 2009 – Various music outlets all over the world have also declared the project their 2009 favorite. iTunes counted the September 8th release as one of its editor’s top picks and MTV included Raekwon in their famed and often controversial Hottest MCs list. Accomplishing what was sure to be an impossible feat, Raekwon was able to follow up the iconic, original 1995 offering, with a collection of work that was declared a classic before the album officially hit the stores.

With the music industry struggling to find its footing in this digital age, Raekwon and the LA based Cashmere Agency, masterfully formulated a viral assault that maximized the power and potential of the internet, as a direct marketing and promotional tool. With no pre-release radio or video support, the OBFCL Pt 2 viral approach confirmed non-traditional methods of album preparation.

According to bossip.com, Monica "Danger" from the first season of VH1’s “For the Love of Ray J” was in a psychiatric hold earlier this month after an incident that involved her newborn daughter.

Apparently, the reality star had a bad case of postpartum depression, resulting in some personal problems. As a result, she spent a week in a psychiatric hospital in Northern California.

People became concerned about her when she suddenly shaved off her hair after an argument with her baby’s father. However; she is out of the hospital and doing fine.

I love goldddddd, fuck that I love Vans Vault.

For those times when a standard Vans won’t do, the Vault has hit us with these Sierra Chukka LX just might. Fresh in at select retailers, including Bows & Arrows, these maintain standard Vans elements while changing things up dramatically.

The uppers are completely black suede, with the exception of the toe reinforcement. In place of standard eyestays are black lace hoops, while the liners are done with tan premium leather. The laces are also done with cords instead of the standard flat laces.

The “Coraline” Dunks could easily be deemed one of the better Dunks of 2009. This shoe belongs on the list because it possesses inspirations from the movie in very unique ways. For example, he right sneaker features the mouse’s face and tail from the movie, while the left sneaker features the cat’s face and tail. The way to obtain them was even more creative. To own a pair, you had to watch the movie and find out the secret code after the credits.

Piano air max.

Taiwanese group PHANTACi paired with Nike on these Air Max 1s, drawing inspiration from a grand piano and translating it onto a wearable canvas. We saw this pair yesterday, but now we have a detailed look at them.


A few details were missed in the last look, including the gold patent leather heel portion and also the gold Air Max bubble support, as well as the metallic finish on the top double-eyelets. Of course, the pink velour liner is a very unique look and matches the outsole perfectly. Unfortunately they’re an Asia-only release, so outside of some connections, odds are you may never grab a pair of your own.

Vans vault are the F**k best. I love these color ways.

It appears Vans will have something for everyone in the upcoming year. In this preview Vans displays two collaborations, a boat shoe pack, an “Aztec” pack, a hemp pack, and two suede packs.

Streetwear brands Acapulco Gold and Crooks and Castles are the aforementioned collaborators. The former brand collaboration bears a White/Green colorway, while the latter’s shoe dons an all-black upper. The “Aztec” pack features two suede and leather compositions with each bearing Aztec patterning on the strap and midsole. The suede packs utilize rich brown and grey suede, respectively. Lastly, there are two Era models wrapped in hemp and a Hi and a Lo model of the Del Barco.

Cool design very different.

Android Homme has released their Holiday Collection for 2009, which means your local retailer should have all three of these silhouettes in stock by now. The Propulsion 1, Propulsion II and the Jet Pack 2 has dropped in a total of 6 new colorways.

We already saw these Propulsion IIs a few weeks back, which included flip-flop colorways of black and white high-tops. The Jet Pack II is coming in two similar color-ups, though the black pair features a copper accent strip going from sole to ankle. The Propulsion 1 comes in the wildest color-ups by far, as it drops in bronze and white, with another done in metallic silver and black.

These are nice....

To pay tribute to the Honolulu Marathon and also the boom of West Coast running, Asics has designed these two pairs of GT-II, dubbed the “Honolulu Marathon” Pack. Each pair is done with a separate color palette, though both draw inspiration from Hawaiian themes.

The brighter pair uses pink for its midsole accent, liner and arches logo. The darker pair uses a black nubuck majority with light blue contrast stitching, which matches the remainder of the upper. Pink is also used here on the liner and the logo on the midsole. Both pairs also get a mixed outsole of black and gum. Both are listed as female releases, but you can always size up.
