Eric Haze fills us in on the recent mural he painted within the walls of Stussy Shinjuku, which was part of his ongoing collaboration with Stussy on the Spring/Summer capsule. Below is some text from the man himself.

All in all, it was a great week working together with the Stussy team in Tokyo, painting inside the store every day, then finishing up the facade on a crane the last night before the opening event… the level of support and enthusiasm we received from everyone during the whole process was tremendous, so many thanks and much love to Michi, Shin, Sei, Brian, and everyone at Stussy JP who was part of making this project all that it could be.

Japanese design company Kyouei Design launches this new Liquid Lamp as part of its latest range of lighting products. The lamp takes on an obvious liquid motif with a cool white shade offering a certain sense of normalcy to this wild creation. Available now through I.T. in Hong Kong.

PEEP This Out Great Art Work. Fox News Says He should DIE: Saber AWR/MSK- "Flag 2010"- Los Angeles Artist

Misunderstood by right-wing fanatics across the States, graffiti artist Saber decided to produce his take on the American flag; designing atop the stars and stripes, Saber created a series of flag murals, each unique, with designs based on what The United States means to the artist as well as things unrelated, that are nevertheless personal to him. The flag series was captured on video and became a finalist in a state wide campaign for health care reform, a project much supported by Saber. Print versions of the flag are now available to purchase here. Check out this video for further information on the whole project entitled Flag, 2010.

CAN YOU SAY COOL SHIT, THE WORLDS BEST IDEA FOR SOCKS.

This year, we have seen sneaker creations out of just about anything including wedding cakesand wire frame sculptures just to name a couple. However, we have came across one of the better, unique sneaker creations in a long time.

Weaving, knitting and sewing are usually considered pastimes for an old woman sitting in a rocking chair; however, tapestry designer Emma Sulzer shows us that you can combine this pastime with a younger audience as well. Sulzer used her tapestry techniques to design sneakers such as the Air Jordan 5 “Grape”, the New Balance 850 “Skippy” and the Puma First Round just to name a few. Emma Sulzer stated that it took 40 hours to create each sneaker as she took a plastic sheet to create the frame of each sneaker and began to weave around the pieces for the final design.
