Lets go green on 4/20 Nike SB Dunk Skunk

A special day in mid April is an important one to many across the world. While there has been a major movement to “go green” within Nike with the Nike Considered program, the Nike SB Dunk “Skunk” takes a different interpretation of the phrase.

The uppers of this Dunk SB High feature a soft, kushy, suede with hits of purple haze on the swoosh and outsole. Inside the shoe spells out the obvious for anyone remotely confused with a stash pocket and a green skunk with bloodshot eyes.

Word on the street is these will be a quickstrike release around 4-20. I think we can do the math right?

Nike Dunk SB

Nike seems to be paying a lot of attention to the SB Dunk Low as of late; they recently released the“Wallenburg” SB Dunk Low and the “Larry Perkins”. In addition, Nike just released another SB Dunk Low that is now available at Flatspot.

This Nike SB Dunk Low possesses a two-tone colored base done up in 100% suede. Red suede is seen on the side panels, toe box, collar area and tongue, while dark obsidian is seen on the rest of the upper. Its complimentary attributes include white oval laces, a single stitched midsole and a dark obsidian outsole. As stated earlier, you can now purchase this Dunk at Flatspot. Nike SB Blazer

Nike SB’s April lineup has surfaced, and even released, earlier than expected. Two of the skate line’s releases are these Blazers, which are keeping their look clean, simple and nearly monotone. Flatspot has the jump on the competition overseas, if you can’t wait for their stateside release.

The first relies on black suede for its upper, with graphite grey as the choice color for the Swoosh, liner and embroidery. A white sole is used, matching the primary laces. The second uses a slight bit more color, as Midnight Navy is in place at various accent points throughout the Matte Silver shoe, including the Swoosh and heel panel. Red is also a chosen accent color.

The Boss Has His Own SB

With apologies to Jon Bon Jovi, The Boss is New Jersey’s most famous son, and an American rock legend. This Summer, Bruce Springsteen will be paid tribute with this specialNike SB Dunk High.

Taking cues from Springsteen’s “Born in the USA” album cover, denim is used for the toe, midfoot and foxing, while navy blue fills in the mid-panel behind a red Swoosh. On the collar, red and white stripes appear as an ode to the American flag that hangs in front of Bruce on the cover. These will reportedly release at New Jersey Skateshop first as a QS sometime later this year.

Nike SB Dunk Low Premium QS “St. Patrick’s Day”

We have spotted a slew of nice, upcoming releases from the Nike SB vault including theDunk Low Premium Dark Chocolate/Beige-Silver, the Zoom Classic Boulder/Vintage Purple-Light Brown and the Bruin “Green Leaf”. Now, we have a closer look at what may be the biggest Nike SB release of March 2010.

It has been stated that this Nike SB Dunk Low “St. Patrick’s Day” has been released at select retailers in Mexico and should be available in the states next month. It will obviously coincide perfectly with your all-green St Patrick’s Day attire as it possesses primarily green suede base. Yet, the side panels are done up in green hemp texture, while the midfoot and toe area are featured in a lighter green hemp. Other features include red Nike branding on the heel panel, a beige Nike swoosh and a grass-like design on the insoles. Who else is reminded of the “Heineken” Dunks? Nike SB's

Yesterday, we notified you of Nike adding the“Formal” Pack to its NikeiD options for the Dunkmodel. However, if you rather find a fresh release rather than making your own, we have just spotted a very nice Dunk that is now available at select retailers including Flatspot.

This particular SB Dunk features a very classy, subtle colorway to say the least. Its beige and dark chocolate colored base is comprised of suede and leather. It also possesses some nice contrasting attributes such as a silver swoosh, red inner lining, a white midsole with beige stitching and a dark chocolate outsole. As stated earlier, you can now purchase this SB Dunk at Flatspot. Click here to view additional photos.

Nike SB Dunk Hi Supreme.

This SB for Spring received a lot of attention when we first got a look at them. The pseudo-NYC-inspired Nike Dunk High Supremegarnered both love and a bit of hate for just that reason. Now we’re getting high resolutiondetailed shots at these and are willing to bet some perceptions will change.

Premium Deep Orange suede is used on the toe, midfoot and heel flap, which immediately catches your eye. Black suede fills in on the toe and mid-panel, which matches the outsole. Finally, Blue Sapphire works its way in on the Swoosh, liner, tongue surround and tongue label, as well as the alternate set of laces. Are these a purchase or a pass?

Nike SB Blazer,

Having enjoyed the SB limelight for some time now, the Blazer has once again been given the Nike Skateboarding treatment. This time round sees a UCLA-esque colourway, created from golden yellow suede uppers, white midsole and laces, with a deep blue leather heel, swoosh and matching alternative lace set. The shoe already nicknamed the ‘Gold Leaf Blazer’ from leaks back in August ‘09, is now available from Kasina.

These are Ugly..... I would not Disrespect my shoe game like this.

Nike SB unveils yet another silhouette from its January 2010 lineup. Dubbed the “Booom”, because of the comic book-esque explosion design on the swoosh, the kicks take on a black/white/blue colorway with red and yellow details. Look for these to make themselves available through Nike SB retailers next month as a quickstrike release.

Koston

Nike SB sat down with its latest team member, legendary skater Eric Koston, for an in-depth interview into everything sneakers. Amongst other things, Eric speaks about some of his favorite sneaker styles of all time and we get a closer look into those Black/Gum kicks previewed sometime back. Definitely an insightful yet playful video from Nike SB.

New Nike SB's Koston

During Nike SB’s recent interview with Eric Koston we were provided a closer look into the Black/Gum Dunk Hi initially spotted back in late October. There still isn’t much concrete information on the sneakers but we do know that three different versions were made for testing during Eric’s skate sessions. Stay tuned!
