To help launch Karmaswap, Karmaloop.com’s new online auction site, they have paired with Kanye West and his namesake foundation to put together Kanye’s Closet. Karmaswap is available for both private resellers and small boutqie brands looking to get their product out. The Nike Air Yeezy obviously needs no introduction. And while it will undoubtedly fetch the largest bid, there are plenty of other items up for a good cause, including memorabilia, t-shirts and so on, all autographed by Mr. West himself. The auction culminates with the posting of the Yeezys on December 1tth and will run until the 18th.

I think im in love

Asics’ Directional Level line is comparable to Nike’s QS approach, dropping in limited colorways, material selections and quantities.
Earlier this month we showed you the mita x Asics Gel-Lyte Speed, and most of you liked it. While this round of limited releases doesn’t involve collaborations, it looks like the four-month run has some great designs in store. Starting in September, two pairs will drop–a Gel-Lyte Speed and GT II. Each month until December, a new colorway or two of varying models will release.

Offered as part of Parisian boutique’s Swarovski exhibition, which officially opened yesterday, colette makes an extremely limited edition pair of sneakers available through their webstore. Teaming up with Swarovski, Jeremy Scott works up an even flashier version of his adidas Originals J-Wings sneakers, this time fully encrusted with Swarovski crystals throughout the uppers and onto the midsoles. The kicks are currently on sale for Approx. $3,700 USD, in only a size 11. For those interested, they can be purchased here.

Although not exactly the same as the original or even prior retro, Jordan Brand prepares to drop one of its more sought after releases, the VI Infrared, in a not so Infrared colorway. Most of the sneaker’s classic design aesthetic remains in tact though, with a Black backdrop, this time being accented by Varsity Red and classic clear outsoles. A release date can be expected for January 16th, 2010, so stay tuned for further looks in the coming weeks.

In a story that toes the line between inspirational and hilariously trashy, a British couple has revealed that they’ve been making porn films in order to finance a destination wedding next summer. The couple has raised about $2100 from three porn films and plan on shooting four more.

Lisa Brand and Tommy Barnes have earned £1,300 from three X-rated movies and plan to make four more to raise cash for a beach ceremony in Cancun, Mexico, next June.
The pair, who have four children, have played a photographer and lingerie model who strip for a romp, and also appeared in a threesome.
“I have told my mum and most of my friends. They understand. It’s always been our dream to have a fairytale wedding.”
Tommy, 36, added at Macclesfield, Cheshire: “It’s our five minutes of fame – something to look back on when we’re older. It has brought us closer together.”

Vans Vault x Deluxe

Following up their collaborative Chukka Boot, Deluxe and Vans just released this Authentic in a similar color and material treatment. The Japanese brand went with lighter tones though, making this a great summer shoe, despite it being December.

The toe panel is done up with light grey suede, For contrast, the remainder is done in a darker shade, though it uses the same material. Touches of blue are used throughout, including the sole pinstripe and the liner, as well as a special strip on the heel.

Glimpses of this particular Supra TK Society have circulated the sneaker blogosphere yet with no information as to if or when they would release. We’ve now caught word that this Gold

/Silver make-up is currently filtering into retailers.

Gel Lyte Speed "Surface Pack"

Just a few hours ago we saw 2 new Asics releases for this Holiday season. The Gel Lyte III won’t be the only shoe to drop though, as theGel Lyte Speed “Surface Pack” is also set to release.

Drawing inspiration from things runners encounter, one pair takes the natural approach while the other represents the street. The grey pair draws from concrete paths, while a road sign look is used on the midsole. second pair uses a completely green upper, while “mud splatters” are used on the midsole and laces.

It seems like the last Bespokes that have popped up form the crew at 21 Mercer have featured purple in a big way, including this one from Masta Mike. But Erik Sanders has broken the trend, using a grey and black base with tropical accents.

Despite the summery feel given off by the team Swoosh and yellow laces and contrast stitching, Loopwheeler fleece is used for the liner, helping Erik actually keep his feet warm. 3M Reflective material is used for entirety of the heel section, while black suede covers the toe.Elephant print is used on the heel tab, and an MX sole with black outsole completes the look.
